All India Ayurvedic Institute (AIAS) celebrated this year’s 11th Ayurvedic Day‑2026 at the national level with a public‑awareness rally, expert symposium, and the launch of a new publication. The rally route passed through major urban and rural areas, where volunteers distributed pamphlets explaining Ayurvedic health principles, nutrition suggestions, and the importance of lifestyle changes. The aim of this initiative was to present Ayurveda not merely as a traditional treatment method, but as a tool for holistic health‑management.

After the rally, the symposium was attended by leading scholars, physicians, and policymakers of Ayurveda. They discussed scientific research on Ayurveda, integration with modern medicine, and the use of Ayurvedic measures in rural health systems. In particular, presentations on clinical trials of Ayurvedic herbs and their potential medicinal benefits captured the audience’s attention. At the end of the symposium, AIAS launched a new book titled “Ayurvedic Lifestyle: A Guide for Modern India,” which includes practical guidance for applying traditional principles in contemporary life.

The president of AIAS said that Ayurvedic Day is not just a symbolic occasion, but a platform for continuous efforts to strengthen public health. He emphasized that Ayurvedic knowledge should be integrated into national health policies by linking scientific recognition with public understanding. Through this program, the institute took a significant step toward bringing Ayurveda into broad social discourse and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
