The All India Ayurvedic Institute celebrated this year’s Ayurvedic Day on a large scale by organizing public awareness rallies in various major cities across India. The rally presented the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, lifestyle‑related treatments, and disease‑prevention measures in a simple and engaging manner. During the rally, health workers and volunteers informed participants about the importance of Ayurvedic herbs, Panchakarma procedures, and nutritious diets. The main objective of the rally was to strengthen a positive outlook toward Ayurveda in both urban and rural areas and to familiarize people with science‑based Ayurvedic practices.

After the rally, the institute organized a national‑level symposium attended by leading Ayurvedic scholars, physicians, and policymakers. The symposium featured extensive discussions on topics such as “Integration of Ayurvedic Medicine with Contemporary Science,” “Rural Expansion of Ayurvedic Health Services,” and “Strengthening Ayurveda on Digital Platforms.” Key speaker Dr. Anita Singh, President of the Ayurvedic Research Council, stated that linking traditional knowledge with scientific evidence is essential to give Ayurveda a prominent place in the modern health landscape.

At the conclusion of the symposium, AIY launched a new book titled “Dimensions of Modern Ayurveda,” which provides practical guidance for applying Ayurvedic principles to contemporary lifestyles and includes the latest research findings. The publication will provide Ayurvedic practitioners, students, and the general public with reliable and up‑to‑date information, thereby promoting the widespread adoption of Ayurveda.
