All India Ayurveda Institute celebrated the 11th Ayurveda Day‑2026 with a public awareness rally, symposium and book launch.

The All India Ayurvedic Institute (AIAY) celebrated this year's Ayurvedic Day with extensive public participation. The institute gathered in the country's major cities to organize a public‑awareness rally, in which the fundamental principles of Ayurveda, its applications in lifestyle, and measures to boost immunity were presented in simple language. During the rally, representatives of the Ministry of Health’s Department of Ayurveda highlighted the importance of integrating Ayurveda into the national health strategy and mentioned new policies to strengthen scientific recognition of Ayurvedic treatments.

After the rally, a multidisciplinary symposium was held in New Delhi, where Ayurvedic physicians, researchers, pharmaceutical experts, and traditional practitioners participated to discuss modern research on Ayurveda, its clinical efficacy, and its alignment with international standards. The keynote speaker said that Ayurveda is playing a significant role not only in disease treatment but also in disease prevention and overall health management. Proposals were presented on this platform to expand Ayurvedic education digitally, increase access to Ayurvedic services in rural areas, and generate interest in Ayurveda among the younger generation.

The event concluded with a book‑launch ceremony, during which the latest publication titled “Modern Ayurveda: Science and Practice” was presented. The book offers practical models, case studies, and policy‑making suggestions for integrating Ayurvedic principles with modern scientific methods.
