The Rajasthan unit of the Customs and Border Protection (CBN) under the Customs Department has recently achieved a significant success in tightening controls on smuggling and illegal trade. According to an official statement issued by the department’s officials, nearly four tons of smuggled goods were seized during intensive enforcement campaigns conducted across Rajasthan. This action targeted prohibited narcotics, cigarettes, and other black‑market merchandise.

CBN’s Rajasthan officials explained that the campaign was carried out in a planned and intelligence‑driven manner. Research officers of the department maintained strict surveillance over various corridors, border areas, and internal routes of the state.
