DPIIT will launch a special campaign focused on cleanliness, reducing pending cases and better record management.
The Department for Promotion of Commerce and Industry (DPIIT) has planned to launch a special campaign aimed at cleanliness, reduction of pending cases, and better record management. This initiative was prepared in view of the growing complaints and delays in action in public services over recent years. DPIIT said that under the campaign the digital platform will be strengthened, making applications, approvals, and filing processes more transparent and faster. In addition, a national data‑migration project will be accelerated to convert existing paper documents into electronic form, improving the accuracy and retrieval of records.

Key points of the campaign include strict monitoring of cleanliness standards, regular audits, and swift action on irregularities. DPIIT explained that all concerned ministries and state agencies will have to provide real‑time data through an integrated dashboard, speeding up the monitoring and resolution of pending cases. Under this initiative, the list of pending cases will be categorized and resources allocated based on priority, and an independent inspection committee will be formed for continuous performance evaluation.

Experts believe that this campaign will not only enhance administrative efficiency but also create a more trustworthy environment for industry and investors. DPIIT said that cooperation among government departments, the private sector, and civil society is essential for the plan’s success, and it will be coordinated with the National Digital India Agenda. Thus, a significant step is being taken toward clean, fast, and transparent administrative procedures.
