The President of India inaugurated Brahma Kumari's “Spiritual Awakening for Global Renewal” program in Vadodara, Gujarat, and also opened the “Global Spiritual Palace” retreat center.

India’s President recently inaugurated the grand “Spiritual Awakening for Global Renewal” program organized by the Brahmakumaris International Spiritual Organization in Vadodara, Gujarat. The program aims to inspire a sustainable future by linking spiritual values with environmental protection, social harmony, and economic development. At the opening ceremony, the President said that spiritual awakening is the key to social transformation and environmental rejuvenation, and that all citizens, government institutions, and non‑governmental organizations need to cooperate in this direction. He connected this initiative with the revival of India’s cultural heritage and moral values, and spoke of strengthening India’s role at both the national and international levels.

At the same time, the President formally inaugurated the “Global Spiritual Palace” retreat centre built by the Brahmakumaris. The centre, situated on 250 hectares of land, has been developed as an international hub for spiritual education, meditation, yoga, and environmental research. It blends traditional Indian architectural style with modern sustainable construction techniques, thereby meeting environmental protection standards. Several national and international spiritual leaders attended the inauguration ceremony, praising the initiative as an important platform for global spiritual dialogue and cooperation. The President described this retreat centre as offering a new dimension of “spiritual tourism,” allowing not only domestic but also foreign travelers to experience Indian spiritual traditions.
